বঙ্কিম  চন্দ্ৰ চেটাৰ্জী (১৮৩৮ – ১৮৯৪) বঙ্কিম  চন্দ্ৰ চট্টোপাধ্যায় নামেৰেও পৰিচিত ভাৰতৰ অন্যতম শ্ৰেষ্ঠ ঔপন্যাসিক আৰু কবি। ভাৰতৰ জাতীয় গীত বন্দে মাতৰামৰ লেখক হিচাপে তেওঁ বিখ্যাত।

১৮৯৬ চনত ভাৰতীয় জাতীয় কংগ্ৰেছৰ অধিবেশনত সৰ্বপ্ৰথম ৰাজনৈতিক প্রেক্ষাপটত গোৱা হয় 'বন্দে মাতৰম্'; উক্ত অধিবেশনত গীতটো পৰিবেশন কৰিছিল স্বয়ং ৰবীন্দ্ৰনাথ ঠাকুৰে। ১৯৫০ চনত ৰবীন্দ্ৰনাথ ঠাকুৰে 'জনগণমন-অধিনায়ক জয় হে' ভাৰতৰ জাতীয় সংগীতৰ মর্যাদা লাভ কৰাত 'বন্দে মাতৰম্' গীতটোক ভাৰতীয় প্ৰজাতন্ত্ৰৰ জাতীয় স্তোত্ৰৰ মৰ্যাদা দিয়া হয়।
