Answer:- The cow is eating grass.
iv) Who is sitting under the tree?
Answer:- A boy is sitting under the tree.
v) Where are the ducks swimming?
Answer:- The ducks are swimming in the river.
3. Let’s talk :
a) What do you do on a rainy day?
Answer:- I stay at home and watch the rain.
b) What do you enjoy playing in the rain?
Answer:- I enjoy jumping in puddles and getting wet.
c) What do you use when it rains?
Answer:- I use an umbrella and a raincoat.

Monkey and the two cats
i) Who were Bunu and Runu?
Answer:- Bunu and Runu were two cats.
ii) Who found a piece of cake?
Answer:- Bunu and Runu found a piece of cake.
iii) Who was Golu?
Answer:- Golu was a monkey.
iv) Who ate the piece of cake?
Answer:- Golu, the monkey, ate the piece of cake.
v) Who do you like – Golu, Bunu or Runu?
Answer:- I like Bunu and Runu.
vi) Why did Golu eat up the cake?
Answer:- Golu kept eating to make the pieces equal, but in the end, he ate the whole cake.
c. Now, say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’:
i) There were two cats in the story.
Answer:- Yes
ii) The monkey divided the cake into three pieces.
Answer:- No
iii) The two cats and the monkey were playing together.
